SANYA MEHTA

Sanya's "crackhead" and jovial personality makes her who she is. She's one of the most fun, genuine and approachable people I've ever met. From the very first day I met Sanya, I found her so easy to get along with. She's the kind of person who will always listen to you, be there for you & make tremendous efforts to understand you & make you feel special. She's the best person to go to when you're dealing with any sort of issue because she would never fail to help or make you feel better-in any way she can-which has always been my favourite thing about her. Sanya & I both joined a new school last year, so both of us quite literally knew nobody, not even each other! In her case, she shifted to Mumbai from another country altogether. Although she has been brought up in Bangkok, she gelled in with everyone at school so quickly and so well. As far as I know, this definitely happened because of Sanya's radiant energy, along with her natural ability to bring comfort wherever she goes. Sanya has been my best friend for a while now & we've both shared a lot of personal experiences from our pasts with each other. She's told me about how when she was younger, she had been a victim of bullying & the situation had blown out of proportion. However, although this was a dark time in her life, she portrayed immense willpower and strength and got through it all by herself. I will always be so proud of her for having a positive outlook to every situation and taking it all in her stride so effortlessly. She inspires me because she handles everything with so much faith and grace. She goes out of her way to help people, even though she may be stuck in a difficult situation herself, which is a quality I admire so much. Sanya is the one friend everyone needs in their life. She's ever-smiling, affectionate and will never fail to uplift your mood, which is something that happens automatically by just simply being around her. There's no one I'd rather have had by my side in these last two years of school. Sanya is truly a gem of a person and quite literally my soulmate. I love her unconditionally and I'm so glad we found each other.
