SACHI MASKARA

Sachi is one of the most unique and warm-hearted people you can ever come across, eliminating any negative aspect of the word ‘crazy’. What inspires me most about her is the way in which she is not afraid to be herself in any circumstance. Despite going to boarding school in the UK and experiencing a completely different culture-she has not lost the essence of who she is or where she comes from. Who is that? A funny, quirky, intelligent and understanding person who brings the energy into any (zoom) room and the laughter and light-heartedness into any conversation. It’s inspiring to see to completely different sides of her- one that cares so much and hurts for every single animal and another that happily prances around the room lost in her own world, unaffected by what anyone else thinks. It’s the scarcity of these qualities that make people like her hard to come by. Her dignity also extends beyond these characteristics and to her talents in dancing and theatre- where she can have an audience tearing up and rolling with laughter in the same act. The respect I have for her is proportional to her height.
