RIDDHI SHAH

Riddhi was the new girl in class in Grade 9 - a classic introvert. I don’t remember this but she says I was the first person to talk to her. I suppose that’s how it all started? Our names sound similar so often we’d exchange a confused half smile look in between class, unsure whom the teacher was referring to.

I’ve known her for 10 years now & I’ve always considered her a close friend. She’s just too much of a sunshine for one to not regard as a good friend, you know?

But in these last 100+ days of lockdown our friendship has grown like the number of views on Prateek Kuhad’s Kasoor video. We’re basically in a relationship at this point but we don’t fit like ketchup and fries - it’s more ice cream and fries (it strangely works).

Riddhi inspires me not because she’s a lawyer who has kicked ass at every professional opportunity. She inspires me because she has this amazing ability to make every person feel like they fart rainbows. She inspires me because she unapologetically chases her dreams - even the ridiculous Bollywood-inspired ones.
