NEHA RAMBHIA

From a very young age , Neha has inspired many, especially me! Intelligence , hard work, commitment. She has taught me that achievement only transforms into admiration if the person achieving those heights is good, caring and kind.

She broke all the glass ceilings , shattered all stereotypes set before her in the most graceful and humble manner.

Starting with becoming a house captain, she showed her prowess in leadership. She went on to back it up with true intelligence by becoming the First Indian Girl to rank in the International Physics Olympiad. Riding the wave that many want only for their sons, she went to study Electrical Engineering at IIT Bombay for not only her undergrad but also masters. There’s no questioning that she got a wonderful job at a top consultancy firm that took her abroad and also offered to pay for her MBA at Harvard Business School.

Just reading this makes her sound like someone who’s all work and no play. But no. She also is an advanced licensed scuba diver who takes one trip a year to a different country to explore all that the ocean has to offer. From diving in ice cold waters (literally) to kissing dolphins. She’s done it all.

And now that all her time seems taken between work and her loving husband and her travel, she surprises us by doing more. She goes above and beyond when it comes to helping her friends and family. The latest instance that comes to my mind is when I was getting married and despite visiting India (home) after a year (just for a short week) she came to my home very often to offer help. From packing to dancing to shopping, she stood there with me. Her radiant smile and kind heart makes her more than just a resume and therein lies her true value, the reason she is truly inspirational.
